  11.   I've got a hard drive that takes a few minutes before it 
  12. gets up to full speed. (Maxtor 128 AT). The main symptom
  13. of this is random checksum errors, which vanish on subsequent
  14. reboots. If I were to use HDsleep I'd have the joy and pleasure
  15. of these error constantly, and possibly corrupting some of
  16. the data.
